Steele
Legal Search works diligently with each candidate's unique
set of circumstances.
First, we meet with the individual
looking to make a move and determine what he or she hopes
to accomplish in both the near- and long-term. Once we
identify these goals, we look only for those openings best
suited to the candidate - those positions that hold the
most promise for moving the individual forward on his or
her selected career path. Throughout this process, we are
vigilant in maintaining confidentiality. We will not circulate
a resume to any potential employer - or anyone else for
that matter - without first attaining the candidate's explicit
permission.
Devising a strategy for a
successful search includes creating a portfolio that both
highlights a candidate's individual strengths and outlines
clearly the motives for a job change, since both of these
elements are essential to making the best placement. To
help candidates build outstanding portfolios, Steele Legal
Search offers resume consultation and advice. In addition,
we provide interview coaching services designed to fully
prepare the candidate for any interviews we arrange.
What
types of candidates do we serve?
Some
lawyers are aiming for partnership at a prominent national
or international firm … others
are already on track for that partnership, but are less
than satisfied with the partner or practice group to which
they are assigned…
Meanwhile, other lawyers
have no interest in the large firm environment and are
instead interested in joining one of the many superb small
to mid-sized firms now looking eagerly for talented attorneys…
Then there are those who
simply want a change…
Candidates who meet any of
these descriptions often entertain many options and opportunities
as they set out on a career move. A job search can be time
consuming, confusing, and overwhelming.
Having a knowledgeable, experienced
recruiter to navigate the many issues that arise in a job
search is crucial. Steele Legal Search can help busy candidates
evaluate opportunities by providing outside analysis on
which career decisions make the most sense.
